THE 9^TH INternational conference for young computer scientists (ICYCS 2008)

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

November 18-21, 2008 Zhang Jia Jie • China

The 9^th International Conference for Young Computer Scientists (ICYCS 2008) will be held in Zhang Jia Jie, China during November 18-21, 2008. There will be 6 keynote speakers for the conference, who are (1) Prof. Michael A. Langston, Ph.D; (2) Prof. Michael R. Fellows, Ph.D; (3) Prof. Yi Pan, Ph.D; (4) Prof. Ji-Feng He, Academician of CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences); (5) Prof. Jiannong Cao, Ph.D; and (6) Dr. Yunhao Liu. You are cordially invited to attend the conference.

The deadline for you to submit the form is October 20, 2008.

(1) Hotel Information

1. Recommended Hotels

¨ Wulingyuan International Resort, Zhangjiajie, China (http://www.prczjj.com/): a five-star hotel

¨ Emperor Hotel, Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, China (http://www.tianzihotel.com): a four-star hotel. Around 10 minutes walk from Wulingyuan International Resort (conference venue) to this hotel.

¨ The earliest date for check-in is November 17 and the latest date for check-out is November 24. If you need to check in earlier than November 17 or you need to check out later than November 24, please contact us for special arrangement.

2. Special Hotel Fees for the Conference

l Wulingyuan International Resort: standard double-beds room, RMB620 per room per day, free Internet connection

l Emperor Hotel: Front Building, RMB 380 per room per day, free Internet connection; Back Building, RMB 300 per room per day, free Internet connection

3. Notices

¨ Once you have made the hotel reservation, we do not accept any change for another type of hotel reservation.

¨ If you do not make any reservation before the deadline, you may not be able to use the special hotel fees when you arrive at the hotel. In the worst case, you can not live at the conference hotel if already fully booked.

(2) How to Reach the Conference Venue

1. From Zhangjiajie International Airport or Zhangjiajie Railway Station à Zhangjiajie City Bus Terminal à Take a bus from Zhangjiajie City to Wulingyuan district (around 40 Kilometers from Zhangjiajie International Airport or 48 Kilometers from Zhangjiajie Railway Station). If you take a bus, please get off at Wulingyuan International Resort station (RMB 10 Yuan a person, every 10 minutes a bus). The tax fee is about RMB 120-150 from the airport or the railway station to the conference venue.

2. If you go to Zhangjiajie City via Changsha City, we will arrange a special bus from Changsha Railway Station to Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan International Resort. The bus will depart from Changsha Railway Station at 9:30am, November 18, 2008. It will be around 4 hours trip to the destination and the bus fee is RMB 110 a person. Please make reservation in advance by filling the “ICYCS 2008 Hotel & Tour & Others Reservation Form”.

(3) Late Registration

¨ Payment by registrants outside mainland China (including Taiwan) can ONLY be in US dollars: Please transfer your registration fee to the following banking account:

Please get the conference proceedings and the receipt of the registration fee at the conference venue. We do not provide any mailing service before and after the conference.

Attention: there are many flights from large cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou to Zhangjiajie. Therefore, you don’t need to transfer through Changsha if you take flights for your trip.
