Call for Papers

The 3rd International Workshop on Wireless Computing and Networking (WCN 2011) serves as a forum for academic researchers and industrial professionals interested in the latest development of wireless networks, and will be held in conjunction with FCST 2011, IEEE TrustCom 2011, and IEEE ICESS 2011. You are invited to submit papers in all areas of wireless computing and networking. All submissions must describe original research, not published or currently under review for another conference or journal. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Design and implementation of wireless systems
• Fundamental understanding of wireless computing and networking
• Algorithms and protocols to cope with mobility, limited bandwidth, limited energy, and/or intermittent connectivity
• 4G technologies, RFID, and 802.1x technologies
• Cognitive radio networks, MANETs, mesh and sensor networks
• Novel applications and architectures
• Security, privacy, and trustworthiness of wireless systems

Submission Instructions

All submissions should be written in English with a maximum length of 6 pages (or up to 10 pages with the over length charge) in the IEEE Proceedings Format. Submissions should be sent to Dr. Xue Zhang zhangxue@uestc.edu.cn, cc-email: WCN2011Changsha@gmail.com.

Publication
The accepted papers from this workshop will be published in the FCST-11 conference/workshop proceedings by IEEE Computer Society, and will be indexed by EI Compendex and ISTP. Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be invited for possible publication in special issues of prestige international journals indexed by SCI and EI (pending).
